CHOCO-NUT TART

The perfect mix of chocolate and peanuts.

INGREDIENTS

CHOCO-NUT TART

  • 1 ½ cup peanuts, without salt
  • ½ cup almond flour (you can  blend the almonds)
  • ¼ cup coconut oil
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 7 oz dark chocolate, grated
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp corn starch

PREPARATION

CHOCO-NUT TART

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  2. In a food processor, place peanuts and process for 2 minutes, add coconut flour a tablespoon of honey and mix again. Add coconut oil and mix with a spoon.
  3. Place the mix above (crust) in a pie pan and press into the pie crust.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes.
  5. On the other hand, mix in a small saucepan; 2 tablespoons of honey, salt, vanilla, and coconut milk. In a small pot, heat for 10 minutes and add the grated dark chocolate, incorporate the cornstarch and eggs. 
  6. Pour the mixture over the crust, previously baked.
  7. Bake for 15 minutes to 350 F.
  8. Let it cool.
